  Thank you jgnat for the information. The peepers have grown quite a bit in the last few days. They are starting to eat through the bag of feed of I got them. About a cup a day. I am sure in the next few weeks that will increase. Oh what fun. Still Totally ADD

  They are so cute in their cage with the red heat lamp warming them. There are eggs in our future. Hopefully. Coop is built all I need to do now is put the fence in. Foot under ground all the way up to the top of the 6 foot post. Then a netting over the top to keep out any other brids. Have not had chicken in 20 years. Looking forward to watching them grow up. The Still Totally ADD mini farm is growing. All what fun we are having. Still Totally ADD

  Did You Ever Feel Guilty Because You Deserted The JW Religion?

  once i left, i never yearned for anything associated with the religion.

  i didn't miss their doctrines, their erroneous thinking.

  i never felt guilty because i abandoned the religion i was raised in.. i believe the reason for my not feeling guilty is pretty simple.

  Just the other day I said to myself it has been almost 3 years since I set foot in a kingdom hall. No guilt just sad that I spent a good protion of my life in this cult. I am so happy I no longer waste my time with the Wt. Still Totally ADD

  why is it that we never had coffee/tea after the meeting??

  yet, nearly every kh has a kitchen??.

  I was told along time ago we are a don't give a damm about anything except going out and preaching about the Wt. No tea, or coffee for anyone. Just wear and tear on your car and what you wear. And this is all on your dime not thiers. Still Totally ADD

  What is definition of a true friend, once outside the cult?

  after leaving the cult of jw's or waking up to ttatt, it is a struggle to trust people again.

  i am personally starting from scratch although i am still in.

  each moment i spend with my current jw friends, i know they are all smiles and loving towards me because of my good status with the wt.. outside a cult you still find fake people and it is also a struggle to find true friends and it is even worst when we've been hit hard from people we used to trust and care for.. .

  So far we have experience people who do thngs for you that you did not expect and they have no alternative motive for doing it. For no reason tell you how glad they are we are in their lives. Also they show trust in you to do the right thing and to be honest with them. This encourages us to do the same thing. Nothing fake or we have to say this because we our order to do it. It all comes from the heart. When this happen you soon see does who are not really your friend because they want something from you. Still Totally ADD

  Real good Post OUTLAW. Just think 20 years from now the pub. will be using drones flying over the householder house and droping WT. and Awake on their front lawn. The 20 after that the will be sending out their robots door to door telling people if they don't listen to them they are going to die. Soon after that all the human Wt. drones will be hiding in their bunkers the Wt. sold to them so people can't find them. I see it all now that is the real future of the WT Cult. LOL Still Totally ADD

  Describe What a Jehovah's Witness Elder Is Like

  but at this point in time, do you think the elders look joyful?

  The problem is most elders start out married with children. That means they work at lease 40 hours a week. Then during that same week they have field service, study, paperwork for the Wt. or KH, getting parts together, public talks on sunday although thats once in awhile, family study, meetings, elder meetings, JC meetings, going out and visit others, spend about 2 mins. with your wife or children. So by the time the weeks over this one elder has put in about 80 hours of work. This is because of the load Wt. puts on them. They have little time for anyone else. Yes they don't do what you think they should. In most cases they can't. The Wt. Cult keeps them so busy they can't think straight and that's for good reason. Elders if they got a chance to stand back and look at things for what they really are they would see the Cult for what it is. Busy work is the way Wt. keeps control over the elders. All your comments on what elders do it true but I hope this gives you all a little insight on why they act like that. Yes there are those who are in it for the power but for the most part I think most just wanted to help and found out they can't because they are only human. The Wt. uses this guilt on those elders to make them do even more. Any way that has been my experience as an elder. Still Totally ADD

  I NEVER Hear A JW Talk About Never Dying & Living Forever In Paradise Anymore!

  i was raised with this belief, that we would never die and actually make it into the "new system".

  mu faithful jw aunt still talked about my mother (her sister) and her walking together into the great tribulation--- and never die at all!

  she spoke of that 2 days before she passed away.. i believe most witnesses expect to die and then get resurrected.

  My older brother a elder since 1976 and is 71 now told me not to long ago that he and his wife are going to die in this system and will have to wait on god to bring them back to life. I was shock to hear him say that but I understand where he is coming from. Old age has a way of making you look at your mortality. Besides talking about how great the GB is much better than talking about Never dying or living forever. After all you are only thinking about yourself if they talk about never dying or living forever, much better to think about how great the GB is. It keeps your mind off the important things. LOL Still Totally ADD

  Finally free of JWs!

  we moved house and no active jw knows we live there.

  it's in another congregation territory too so when they finally come knocking, they won't know i'm a dirty apostate when i tell them to put me on the do not call list.

  problem is, the local discount supermarket across the highway is frequented by jws from my previous previous congregation!.

  Good for you Julia Orwell. Reopened Mind and me moved 1000 miles away to get away from the cult. In the 3 years we been here not one JW has knock on our door. But i still have to talk to my brother. Mostly about our mother. That is really the only contact I have. Enjoy your new freedom and remember freedom comes with lot's of hard work. Still Totally ADD

  once in awhile when i post and submit it and go back to another topic i am not log in any more.

  i can back space with the arrow on the right corner and i can get to being login again but most of the time i have to login again.
